On June 9-11, the Second National Conference on HIV Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis “PrEP: Beyond Routine Protection” is being held on Facebook and Youtube. At the conference, participants and speakers will share the results of the implementation of the pre-exposure prophylaxis of HIV (PrEP) program over the past few years, discuss the barriers and challenges to the introduction of PrEP, prospects for the future.
The conference is divided into three days according to the themes of the plenary sessions. The conference starts daily at 13:00 and lasts until 17:00.
Objective of the conference:
- to facilitate the exchange of experience and best practices in the introduction of PrEP, as well as form a common vision of the government and non-governmental sector on them
- to identify prospects for expanding the program for all people at high risk of infection and create favorable conditions for them to raise awareness of PrEP
- to propose a platform model for stakeholder participation, which will serve to discuss and form further plans for PrEP
