Registration for the 17th National LGBTIQ+ Conference of Ukraine is open!

On December 5 and 6, 2024, Kyiv will host one of the most important events of the year – the 17th National LGBTIQ+ Conference of Ukraine. This event will be a key platform for discussing the achievements of the LGBTIQ+ movement, developing new strategies, and setting future priorities.

Registration is already available here. Also, to keep up with all the news and updates, follow the organizers’ Facebook pages: the conference page and the National LGBTI Consortium.

The conference, initiated in 2008, has become an important platform for joint discussion of human rights issues, combating discrimination, and improving the living conditions of LGBTIQ+ people in Ukraine. This year, the main focus will be European integration and solving problems related to the delay in adopting the draft laws on registered partnerships and liability for hate crimes.

The conference is expected to be attended by representatives of the LGBTIQ+ community, activists, government officials, and international partners who will join forces to find common solutions. Participants will discuss the most pressing issues, including the protection of human rights in times of war and prospects for the development of LGBTIQ communities.

This year’s conference will also be a great opportunity to establish partnerships, share experiences, and strengthen the influence of the LGBTIQ+ movement both in Ukraine and abroad.

VirusOFF has become the official media partner of the event. We will cover all key stages of the conference: from preparation to its completion and plan to create some materials: interviews with leading activists of the LGBTIQ+ movement, video digests, analytical articles, and video reports with conference participants.

Join the 17th National LGBTIQ Conference to build a future without discrimination with other activists and partners!
