COVID-19 is a disease caused by a new coronavirus called SARS-CoV-2. WHO first learned about this new virus on 31 December 2019, when several viral pneumonia cases were reported in Wuhan, People’s Republic of China.
The most common symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, dry cough, fatigue. People of all ages who, in addition to having a fever and/or cough, experience difficulty breathing or shortness of breath, chest pain or tightness, speech impairment, or movement disorders, should seek immediate medical attention. If possible, you should first contact your health care provider, call the hotline, or phone your health care institution to get an appointment card to a relevant facility.
