The organization has prepared a video for its 20th anniversary.
100% of Life is the largest patient organization in Ukraine. The network has been operating since 2001. Today, 100% of Life has 474 members and 15,000 associate members in 25 regions of the country and is the main recipient and executor of projects of the Global Fund and USAID in Ukraine.
In addition, 100% of Life is a leading partner of the state in the implementation of medical reform and the developer of the eHealth system. In 2016, the network received the PEPFAR award for the best partnership and became the largest benefactor in the country in 2016 and 2017 according to the Ukrainian Benefactors Forum. Every year, the Network provides services to more than 190,000 patients, 90,000 of whom are PLHIV.
“The state from the antagonist has turned to our reliable partner,” representatives of the organization say. “The experience of the struggle for life allowed our colleagues to get into government bodies and international organizations, in areas where previously it was impossible even to imagine representatives of communities. Now we are a powerful force influencing government policy in the health sector, that implements the Transition Plan from donor funding to public funding.
